I've ridden almost every day up until now. Some days it's been below freezing, but the ground has been warm enough not to frost, so it's been OK. Most days it was full wind/water/weather gear with heated grips, winter gloves, and neck tube.
Last night a chinook blew in and it was 20degC today. I was roasting in my rain pants sitting in traffic.
Tonight a storm is blowing in. It's about freezing and they anticipate it to freeze every night in the forcast. The commuting season may be over here.
But, I'll likely take the KLR out for a blast Sunday afternoon!

Headed home last night about 10PM, it was under 40 and gorgeous. Yes, it's still riding season.

It was 39 this AM, but supposed to be sunny and 55 this PM. Right now it's getting cloudier
Might get rained on again, like yesterday. They grey skies were beautiful in their own way, if it had been 15 degrees colder it would have flurries for sure. It was a grand ride.

I had to take my wife to the airport this morning, so no bike. I'm not sure that I would have anyways, as the temp was 34 when I would have been riding to work and I don't have any heated gear.

I only saw one other person out besides myself, as well. Usually I see a guy on a dualsport, but I must have left too late this morning to catch him.

Yup, I rode also. Still warm enough to justify leaving the car at home. 43 in AM, 50 this afternoon with lots of sun glare.

Rode in the past three days. About 36 to 38 degrees when I left at 7:30. The bikes are thinning out at work. Mine was the only one in the lot.

Well, I didn't ride to work today. I'm off for three days, so I'm in Tellico Plains.
Rode the Dragon, Skyway and a few other really nice twisty roads today. Now for a nap, then off to the restaurant for BBQ.

Where you going? There's a place called Sweetwater BBQ in Robbinsville just past Wheeler's that's top notch.
Back on topic: You know it's getting late in the season when there is no longer any need to switch the clear shield out for the tinted one.

Well this week is looking like the Jeep is going to get the chance to be driven the majority of the week, rather than the minority.
Gonna have to do that clutch now..
