Well the end of year Holiday Season is finally here. I have put my trusty STeed away for it's long winter's nap and I am beginning to suffer the pangs of PMS.

2006 was a great riding year for me. I logged just a tad over 10,000 and enjoyed some great road trips and the riding companionship of many friends.

Here is the link to My Travels on Two Wheels - 2006. It is a long one this year at just under 10 minutes. I had a hard time keeping it that short.

Nice video. What tool do you use to do the zooming/panning on the photos? I use Microsoft Movie Maker, but haven't dug into the features at all. The motion certainly adds some visual interest without being overbearing. I like it.

A great free tool for this (if you run Windows) is Photo Story 3... also available free from Microsoft.  Just search their website and you'll find it... it is specifically for creating videos of photos set to music and supports the panning/zooming stuff and other special effects.

Edited to include the URL:

Garry - I use Microsoft Photostory3 (freeware from the MS site) to make the slide show video portion. That program has a wide selection of photo transition, panning, etc controls. More than Movie Maker. However, I then import the photostory video portion into MovieMaker to do the title, credits and soundtrack portions. I like those capabilities of MovieMker better.
