Thumbsup  I hate to complain about a worthy organization however, I've earned the right to question why, after 15 months, I don't even get a e-mail back about my status as a wanna-be member.
After completing two SS1000's... one BB1500... one 2000 miles in 24hrs....one Mexico to Canada in 36hrs...  I have no proof from IBA.   The IBA has computer gas receipts, maps, pictures, witness forms and money!  My witnesses are now stale and unreliable.

I only want what was earned according to IBA's own guidelines.  I am proud of the accomplishments,
but embarrassed in my local biker crowd when I'm asked for proof of IBA membership #.
Following the IBA website we see this ongoing delay in certification isn't new, but doesn't seem important enough to be a priority.

Let me say again, I don't like to complain about a volunteer organization, but our application fees should alleviate any labor shortages so our applications can be processed.  I would think the dollars sent with our applications for membership could go to hire IBA support staff.

I would like to hear from IBA, and from others who may experience the same delays.

 Thanks,
Connor63,  IBA # .........?

I got my first cert 8 years ago. It's never been this bad. However, it is quickly getting cleared up. If you check around on the IBA's own forum and on one of the FJR forums, you'll see many riders speaking up about their old rides being certified.

Just to make you feel really bad, my S.O. and I did a TC Gold in July and our rides are now certified. We don't have the cert's yet but I ordered a nice gold anodized, laser cert for Sherri and I have it here on the dining room table. The guy that makes them has a back door into the IBA.

Check the date on this cert.

My wife and I did a SS1000 on June 9th, but it was through the Motorcycle Tourer's Forum and we were told that their events get certified a little quicker than solo rider's submissions. We just got our certificate packages a couple of days ago. I wasn't expecting them until at least March.
