Well the ride never headed up to the Kettle Moriane Forest. Way to much
ice
on the roads this morning. I made it up to Waynes and really thought no one was going to show up. I was thinking I must be crazy to be out here, but I called it so I better go. Well I'm not the only one to show up, the lurker also braved the
ice
. Good thing we both agreed that a ride to the forest was not going to happen today. So what do you think we did? Coffee of course
me at Waynes thinking how crazy is this
hit ice like this in a corner and things are not going to be good
here comes the lurker
coffee was here taking the straightest route possible
nice ice puddles in the parking lot
notice where we parked
after coffee with the lurker I headed over here for one more
just because I can

Well Joel, if I didn't have such a rotten evening with zero sleep, I should have made it out there. As it was I got out around 12 and rode the Holy Hill roads. By that time all ice was only on the less traveled roads and the deer were out playing "
Can you guess what I'm going to do?
". I did stop up atop Holy Hill to check the view only to find that my camera batteries froze so no juice for pictures. Thanks for posting up great pictures! Blue sky's and light traffic.

Did a little city riding today. Just couldnt stop crackin' up.
Here it is 12-24 and I'm out rippin up and down the Kennedy with damn near no traffic.
Made a quick stop at barnes and Noble, then a few last minute groceries. Marinade stiing in the fridge just waiting for a couple of new York strips to be drowned. teriyaki, garlic and cilantro- Fresh chopped. Going on the gas grille in about 30 minutes.

I rode yesterday as well - visited Chicago Cycle Center with a couple of friends to look on bikes, then about 50 miles loop in north suburbs.
