Riding on frost heaved dirt roads?  Crazy Not my idea of fun. Has there been any that has been graded yet?
Maybe trade the ST1300 in on a 06' Tiger?  Shrug  (I'm kind of skeptical about running an 07' Tiger off the road due to the way they changed it).  Last I checked, there was still an '06 left in the TC Triumph shop.  That would make it fun!

We have two '06 Tigers at the shop in Kalamazoo!

I am not really a fan of the 955 tiger. The bike sits way up high and the bags leak. I tested them.  Crazy

The only thing going for the older Tiger is the suspension, love it with MI roads. The suspension on the 1050 Tiger is not as rebounding. Either thats the way it is or the settings are too stiff.

Yesterday afternoon's 250 mile scouting excursion yielded some extra miles on one of two several hundred mile technical closed loop routes.  This is going to be one awesome time for attendees.  Those who miss this one are going to be kicking themselves because I am fairly confident that there will be a LOT of chatter from participants after they ride these routes.  Bigsmile  Thumbsup

Count me in -
Living 50 miles WNW of TC since 1983 and owning both an FZ1 and a street legal WR450 I may be familar with most of the roads you are thinking of.
Now to decide which bike to bring . . .

I live 50 miles the opposite direction from TC.  As far as bikes to bring, that is a tough call.  FZ1 would be my choice, and since you live so close, bring the WR out on Monday - 'course there are more fun (read: more knarly) places to ride that puppy than the Jordan river valley (but none prettier here in MI - IMO).
