I was stationed at Fort Ord, CA back in 1977 with a guy and wife named Greg and Carly from your home town of Morgantown, WV. Can't remember their last name. So got any friends or acquaintances with those first names? I would guess they would have 30 year old kids by now.

Yes, shortly. I got laid off a couple weeks ago and have been a bit distracted to say the least. I need to nail down the group dinner. There will be registration for that. Event T-shirts will be available for purchase online, hopefully soon too.

Okay I am in. I just booked a rood for sept 26&27. It is a single non smoking room but I can call and change it to a two person room if anyone needs a place.

I spoke with the Marlinton Motor Inn this Morning, 08.09.08 to confirm my reservation for ESTN. The nice lady said they still have 16 rooms available for Friday the 26th and 15 rooms available for the 27th.
I told her I"d post that, and we'd try to "fill her up"....
I hope she didn't take it the wrong way..

Thats why I called to verify my reservation (800.354.0821) I made mine in late January... she made me nervous coz it took awhile to find it.. But she said she was going backwards in the reservations and it just took a while to find mine... It wouldn't hurt to double check, they don't seem to mind at all. I thought my reservation was pre-paid too.. Its just being held by our credit card, and we will be billed when we check out.

Myself and a riding partner will be riding north from N.W. Florida through Chattanooga and Christensburg VA if anyone wants to join us. Dates are the 24th and 25th. Let me know. If anyone has a good idea for a return route from WV to Florida fire away!

I have some vacation time to burn so I booked Thursday night as well. I'm going to head down a day early to do some exploring. I'm seriously looking forward to this trip. I could use the recharge.
