The show will be at the IX Center on Jan. 26-28.  For more information, the offical web site is as follows:  http://motorcycleshows.com/motorcycleshows/

I plan on attending the show and thought it may be a good chance to meet fellow ST.N'rs.  So far, I know me, WVRidgerunner, and Velofish (Region 6) are going to try to be there on the 27th.

What about you?  And what day to you plan on attending?

Yea, global warming is working out well for riders.   Lol

Actually, WVRidgerider has offered up his plane and piloting services to the two lucky people who responded to his email the quickest.  I was lucky enough to check my email 10 minutes after he sent the invite to 1/2 dozen of us.

So, it'll be a 40 minute trip for us.   Thumbsup

Eleven people so far?  That's it?

Should we try to pull of a ST.N meet and eat lunch at the show?  If you're like me, you have to eat sometime.   Cool

So far, and if it all works out with everyone, I will be bringing 3 others to the show at the IX Center on that Saturday.

This show has traditionaly been much better than the one that comes to the Detroit area.

Well of course, there are more exhibitors, cause no one fears for their life in Cleveland, as opposed to Detroit.  Lol

I'd be glad to meet up with everyone during the show. There's not much in the way of choice in food inside the inside the IX center(burgers, hot dogs, nachos, etc.) The last time I was there was a year ago, for the same bike show. Also, another exhibition, the NARI home improvement show, will be going on in an area opposite of the bike show. With the two shows going, traffic around the access roads is pretty thick. I know you can get a hand stamp to get in/out of show, say, to take something out to your car, but there are no in/out privileges in the parking lot.
Anybody care to meet before or after the show? There's a Bob Evans for breakfast about 10 minutes away from the IX center on Snow road, and another family restaurant just a couple minutes away from that. Or we could also meet afterwards. Just down the street is a good Mexican restaurant called Nuevo Acapulco, a Japanese sushi place (Ahashi) or a brew pub, just to name a couple.

I'll be driving back from Florida to NY earlier that week, so it's doubtful I'll want to drive 300 miles to the IX and back the following weekend. Otherwise I would.

Are people still interested in meeting up during the show?
How about meeting at the Hayabusa bike in the Suzuki section at 1pm?
Or, other suggestions?

Well, we have a total of 8 people coming up from the Morgantown, WV and I don't know when we'll arrive.  So, I can't make any promises to meet at the Busa around 1:00.  If we can, we'll be there!
