Now you know my secret... Sad

Anyway, is the idea that you drive to just around the corner, park the trailer, then ride in showing off the miles you rode? Interesting...next thing you know they will be selling road rash for your sportbike to gain street cred... Lol

or sandpaper for chickenstrips...

man, the opportunities are endless... Lol

Brilliant!

I tell you that there is definitely a market out there for this stuff regardless of make or model of bike.

why would anyone actually want to devalue their bike just to pose to milage counters?   has anyone ever gotten laid because of the massive amount of miles on their bike?  I wonder that would work in reverse to make a bike more valuble.  not harley bashing, they could just as easily if not easier, sell this to the trailer sport touring people, though why anyone would develope this, and where the demand was, I just dont know.  thats just odd.  at worst you could just say you barely bought the bike and thats why there is only 3000mi on it after 5 years.......

What about selling ground down frame sliders?

LOL.  Image is everything for some folks. I have seen folks that would give a rider brand new knee pucks in exchange for ground down ones that were lamost worn out.  I've also seen street riders come to a trackday and buy totally shagged tires that the owner was just keeping around to weigh down his canopy.  How about the kids that buy jeans with holes in them, brand new!

Fashion keeps the economy afloat.

I saw the image of the trailer and thought they were selling the trailer for $239! I was going to buy a bunch of them to flip!  Lol

Then I clicked on the image and saw that the item being sold was a wiring harness. Sad

As an aside, I agree with what was posted above. The ad has to be a photoshop joke.

Ahem, I've gotten laid countless times because of the miles on my bike.  I just stand next to it and point to odometer as girls walk by.  It's like moths to a flame.  Sometimes they jump me right there on the bike!

Totally kidding.  I can't even say I've been laid countless times period.  I remember all 7 of them.

This is hilarious no matter how you slice it.  I bet there is some truly rashed gear floating around that is worth hundreds of dollars in street cred... anyone selling?

There was an eBay auction a couple of years back from a guy selling pucks. It basically started out something like "You're a squid. You know it. I know it. But now there's no reason for everyone to know it. I've done the hard work and gotten these pucks all worn down and YOU get to take the credit for them!"

Oh, and gee, ANOTHER Harley-bashing topic on the periphery. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

At least when I'm accused of Harley bashing, I'm telling an actual story about something that happened.  And you know I've been thinking about it.  It's not my fault!

It's not because I think that Harley/Cruiser riders are worse than others.  It's just that there are so damn many of them.  If I see a biker doing something stupid there's about an 80% chance the rider is a cruiser rider.  That's what I see the most of summer, spring, fall, and yes even winter.
