You dewds are good!
One last train photo and it'll likely take the local experience of a Thompson/North Okanagan resident to get it.

Alberni Valley, Sproat Lake park looking across lake to Martin Mars water bombers, spent many a summer day there in my youth and quite a few in my later years too. Thumbsup

Nope!

It's the Kamloops Heritage Railway steam engine that runs between Kamloops and Armstrong through the summer. The pics was taken on Hwy 97 between Monty Lake and the Hwy 1 junction. Sorry no wine on this train.
I'll try and get a shot of it this year with the bike in the foreground.

That brings back memories...

I was last there in 1977. My father had an old army buddy who had a nice home on the lake.

Yep.  Thumbsup

"The Okanagan of Vancouver Island" ... seems every time we went there, which was often, the weather was warm and the water wonderful. Sproat Lake Provincial Park has great camping and often an air show thrown in. Even on hot days the sound of those massive radials gives me goose bumps !

There's also a guy in Nakusp who's one of the best parts sources for Laverda anywhere, apparently--I have no idea where he is in town, though!

He (Wolfgang) also hosts a rally there every year. Sometime near mid July.
