That'd be a cool trip.
Be sure to book a campsite a few weeks ahead. Peak season it packs out.

I would recommend Dinosaur Trails campground in Drumheller, nice amenities and for some reason less bugs than some others.

Might head out there this summer. Never been to the Tyrrell Museum.

Just might have to do that. It would likely be in September.
Maybe some of you have seen this sign ???

I really enjoyed my visit to Drumheller and the Tyrell Museum, oh, over a decade ago. Really gotta go again sometime. One thing I did enjoy there were the incredibly tacky dinosaur statues and murals (the high school had a mural with the stadium doors placed in the dinosaur mouth, as I recall).
Drumheller started life as a coal mining town, and there are several small ghost towns in the badlands there. We stayed in
Wayne,
at the old hotel above the saloon--bedrooms were nice, bathroom down the hall... The road to Wayne is interesting, 11 bridges in only a few km (the road keeps recrossing the same stream).
Another attraction in Alberta is Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump, where the First Nations demonstrated their environmental sensitivity centuries before Europeans arrived
Definitely worth seeing--or at least, I really enjoyed my visit. Dunno if the access road is paved yet (it wasn't when I was last there over a decade ago).

Let me know when you go, and we'll meet in Wayne. I've heard lots about the Saloon, they have a folk fest there sometime during the year, my brother sat in on the old rickety piano for a night. Be warned, you may have to share a bathroom........... it is an old hotel.
I've also never been to the Tyrell.

Given that Dinosaurs play a huge role in motorcycling, it might be a neat idea for a destination ride for someone to consider organizing.
The Ride to the Rex !!! or some such thingy ....
I mean is this a photo op or what ???

Let the Harley jokes begin
You know, they could capitalize on this! Rename their models--rather than the incomprehensible alphabet gook they use now, there could be a Triceratops (power cruiser), Diplodocus (touring bagger), Maiasaur (aimed at women), and Tryrannosaurus Road (Road King). My Firebolt could be referred to as a Velociraptor

Why not? Let's see 'em.
(my old green kawi pics are all grainy scans so I'll keep them to myself for now....)

Hmmmm I've never owned a green bike that didn't have knobby tires but here's a pic near Spences Bridge of two black ones. The ZX12 was mine and the ZX14 was the first one deliveried to North America (to the general public, apparently Jay Leno had the first one but it was air freighted to him).
Here's my ZX12 in front of something green....
