That bike is way, WAY overpriced.

According to KBB, retail for an '03 is $6600.00.  I wouldn't say it's way overpriced.  It's being sold "Retail", not by private seller.  Seems to me this dealer is as dumb as everyone else selling bikes on the internet; throwing a hundred on top of it's retail value Lol

No mate! It's a love lust thing! I've been doing it all my life! I'll drop what I love for something that I lust after!
Been doig it for years!
But now I have a 5'4" small voice that keeps me in line.
But what can i say....she's pretty! And I would look great on it!
And yeah it's probably a bit over priced, like all bikes on the net.
but you have to admit, she does look good!

I'd sooner spend $6900 on this black beauty:

Got one just like it with 14K on the odo. Corbin seat, heated grips, Throttlemeister. It's yours for $6,000.

It's been sitting so long because the asking price is too high.  Check KBB and go on in there and make 'em an offer.

Especially this time of year, AND in the current uncertain economic time.  Offer then 1/2 that, let them meet you at $4500 and hope you don't burn up the electricals before you get it home.   At 16,000 I'm sure it's overdue for a CCT and a new Regulator/Rectifier.
