Damn, I just realized that I actually grabbed the wrong windmill. Lol Lol I was in a hurry and didn't see that Chris's windmill was the Dutch windmill and I went to the Murphy windmill.  I only just noticed that the windows are different between the two.

I can go back up to SF next Tuesday and grab the Dutch one so as not to be a big cheating cheathead.

Considering how quickly you got out there, I think we can probably ignore that slight variance  Bigsmile  I also didn't realize there were multiple windmills until I was heading back home from this tag. See, we all learn something by participating  Smile

True story: I'd only ever been to the Dutch windmill once, for like 10 minutes about a year ago.  I had no idea there were two windmills in SF.  So  yesterday, I punched "SF windmill" into the GPS and it took me to the Murphy one.  I was parked there thinking, "wow, this looks different.  I don't think I'm at the right windmill."  It was really disconcerting.  I figured I was just going crazy because there's no way there were TWO windmills in SF. Lol  I even brought up this thread on my iPhone and looked at your photo and thought, "well, the buttresses are the same, it's got to be the same windmill, what a dumbass, of course there's only one frickin' windmill in Golden Gate Park".

Then while doing my blog entry this morning about the ride, I looked up something about The Great Highway and the wikipedia article happened to mention two different windmills in SF.  Lol  I was like, "OH FOR FUCK'S SAKE" though I have to admit that I really felt a lot better about the weird feeling I had yesterday. Lol
