I love it.
Thanks for the links.
Some more discussion at
this thread from the fall
. Sounds like the Dorsoduro is coming to the states, as one STN member already has a deposit.

Tor Sagen (Euro moto-journalist) writes today:
"I am now on the outskirts of Rome at the Aprilia Dorsoduro launch. The new Aprilia street supermoto is aimed at the true hooligans amongst us and there's no soft approaches to the concept. For that you've got the Shiver. The white version we first saw at the Milan show is destined to become the Factory version. Now Aprilia offers the Dorsoduro in Black, Silver and red first. I forgot my video rendering stuff so you'll have to wait until Saturday for the first video from the launch. There'll be an update number 2 soon... Tor Sagen"

Sorry, I'm just not feeling the street bike set up to LOOK like a motard. Just don't like this or the Duke, or the Hypermotard. I like the real thing.

To me it might make more sense then a sportbike on the street. You get lightweight and long travel suspension which would be great as many of the backroads I like to ride are falling into neglect, and a decent riding position for riding around town commuting and running errands. If the seat and tank are are adequate you could sport tour on it too.

Kind of look like a high Shiver rather than a true 'tard bike to me....Now the shiver, that's all sexy in my books! The local dealer has an orange one coming in early next week, and I must retain all my will power not to have it!
