Not a problem....then again there was that incident

in Buffalo Lol.....

Did it involve a goldwing? (He asked hopefully)

Then it could be the Buffalo-Wing incident.

Ya, for some reason following Tom doing circles @ the end of the day in Buffalo lost its appeal very quickly Lol....

Have a Missouri State Motocross Series race on Sunday in Halfway MO, which is about 30 miles north of Springfield.  After the race, driving the race rig south to somewhere around Branson and making that the base camp.  No sence in driving past good riding roads...Especially when I am getting around 6 miles to the gallon in the rig!  So...the 'ride' to ES will be around 50 miles.  Planning on riding the scenic route from Branson to ES, so hopefully I can make it in just one day!
See ya there and ride safe,
Mark

If you are taking the scenic route, don't forget to take the fairy ride across the lake.  I really wish I was able to go... oh well, there's always the fall ride!

Well, kinda sorta making a beeline...we are going through Big Bend National Park and Texas hill country. So not quite a bee line...coming home will be though  Sad

you might consider taking yer swimsuit and stopping at Balmorhea Springs just off I-10.

We stopped there once on a 90 degree day. I think the water temperature is 78 degrees but it feels like 60 degrees on a hot day.

There's also some hot springs in Big Bend Park near Rio Grande Village, although you have about a 3 mile section of jeep trail to get there, but you could do it on a street bike last time I was there.

very refreshing  Smile

Looks nice.  We were planning on heading south on 90, so we'd pass south of Balmorhea, but it's something to think about.  Our plans have us arriving in Marfa pretty late at night, though, so unless we get derailed it probably won't work this time.

We are always looking for good food!!!

The first day is going to be an SS1000 for us so stopping will be at a premium. But, once that is knocked out we are really flexible. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well I'm at 1700 +/- right now. I should be putting about another 3000 or so to ER springs. then 2000 back to Ca. so total Milage should be around 6500 mil. Yes I'm taking the long way (is there any other way) Lol Right now I'm in ID. tomorrow I should be in WY.
