Problem between seat and grips

It was raining steady this morning when it was time to go, but for some reason could not make myself take the truck. I put on rain gear and hit the road. Ariving not really wet and smiling made it worth it.  Bigsmile

I finally had a chance to ride in today, thankfully. I'm hoping the weather holds out for the rest of the week so I can make it a habit instead of a once and awhile thing...

Three days in a row for me, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. I got a late start on the year so I'm going to make up for missed time.

Because of the heat wave in the eastern U.S. this past week, I began varying my route home from work.  I usually take my chances with traffic on the highway, but sitting on the Conc in 90° heat in traffic is just not holding any appeal for me... Crazy  So, been taking city streets back and found it's really not so bad as it keeps me moving better so there's air flow around me.  Also nice change of scenery, but gotta be careful not to get too distracted- especially through OSU campus area... EEK! Bigok

I've got one. The problem is, no matter how 'breathable' the suit is, I get sweaty after the hour ride in. I can't be a sweaty mess when I get to work. It sucks.

I drove.   Sad

The Connie is once again running poorly.  On top of that, it's also sprung an oil leak big enough to drain the crankcase in 30 miles.

Bubba,
Do what I do... Wear minimal clothing under your gear and change once you get to work.

Luckily I work with other 'bikers' and they are used to my idiosyncrasies when I get to work. I do have a manager that does ride, yet she feels the need to ask me everyday there is a slight chance of rain "Did you ride today?" Well... duh!!  Nuts

I've been commuting so much lately that when I went to start my cage yesterday for kid transport duty the battery was toast.  EEK!

Luckily the wife's car was a short ride away and the spare keys were actually at home.

The battery tender is on the car now.  That amuses me.  Lol

I'm doin' the Seafoam in the car and drive it once a week routine.

I'm waiting for the City to realize (via a city council member neighbor complaint  Angry3) that my car gets parked in the street for WAY longer than the 48 hours the ordinance allows...
