A smaller tank in the 990 v. the 950 SM?  That's how Ducati screwed up the Hypermotard.

There is (or will be) a larger tank for the KTM.  I'm pretty sure I've seen a big aftermarket tank on the 950 SM over at ADV Rider.  Ducati on the other hand...  Oh well, it is supposed to be a play bike, I guess.

My question is, "Will the 990 SM be coming to America in any form?"

That is one beautiful bike.
I can't see why people think the supermotos are ugly.

Man-- that bike sings....its like the brutale.

It just yells at you...."what are you waiting for...better weather..RIDE ME YOU PUNK!"
