Unfortunately I am out of it for the day...work called, weather is iffy, blah blah blah.. Crazy

A bunch of excuses but no real reasons. I am unable to make the run today.

Sorry bout this. Just too much to do with other stuff.

Let me know how the trip went if anybody is going.

That was a tough one! To try and find it, I could see that there was a Pro Hardware sign on the store behind the statue, so I made a  call there corporate office, asked for the district manger for Michigan and asked him if he knew of the statue? which he did not Headscratch but he was kind enough to call someone in the organization that would know and gave me a call back with the statues location.

With out having personal knowledge of that statue I probable wasted a good hour at work hunting it down Lol Lol Lol

Funny two track- same deal here.  I figured out the Pro hardware sign too- I tsrated calling them and got lucky on the 3rd or 4th- the regional Pro Hdre sales guy was there, the manager put him on the phone, and he knew where it was.
I'd rather be lucky than good any day of the week!  Pollux- *great* tag- that was tough!
I was gonna get Powamo today, but after bow-hunting this morning, it was time for storm windows. Sometimes ya gotta work on the honey-do list!
BTW- I did 120 miles Thursday morning from GR- South Bend.  Started out at 34° and ended at 38°.  I was running late and couldn't stop, or I would have about 30 miles from SB.  I was getting chilly!  Thank goodness for the A/O cooled engine on the B12- it made a great handwarmer.  On the way home yesterday it was 45° and rain, but the raingear actually kept me plenty warm and dry, so it was no problem.  Nice run!

Four more days.....Then game on.
It looks like it will be warming up next week.( my first week of retirement Inlove)
I ride until it snows and they salt the roads.
Early next year ( it's late for this year ) we should do a MEET at a selected "tag" sight on a weekend so we could all meet. Group tag?

That would be awesome.  It would be sweet to meet everyone.  I'll get that tag this week if someone else doesn't get it first.  I have a good one in mind.
I also ride till the ice and salt- love it!

The next one- it's not on the way to lunch, but it should be a nice ride.  It's just off the same road as the Pewamo Mall- just at one end of it...

Well set on to get the windmill on Sunday with Pops66.  We got to Middleville and it started to rain on us, but he we are motorcyclist, no a motorcycle rider.  So we pressed on in the rain.  So much for the hour I spent detailing the bike on Saturday for the group lunch at Joe's Gizzard City.

So me and Pops66 both know right were this is as we have had to take the wife's shopping in Holland before.  So through the rain and wind, not bad though  we did not get to wet.

The tags are from aways away as the gate was closed.  Go figure it's Sunday.

Only thing is we got a little cold...Is there a decent coffee shop in Holland or Zealand...NO.  We pulled off in Hudsonville to get coffee and warm up a little.

Then it was off to me and Pops66 group tag.

We did pass the Hooker Cemetery so we had to stop and re-tag hehhe.

http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm7/wibornz/11-02-08_1421.jpg

So off for about an hour and a half ride to find an out of the way spot.

So here is the next tag.

 Bigok Ya Buddy.

We talked too long at Joe's Saturday to make the run to Holland. So we started early Sun under cloudy skies.  Headscratch It was dry so OK. Got about half way there and it started to rain.  Sad Time to check out my new riding coat for waterproofing. Good news it is dry.  Inlove About a half hour and the sun came out. A beautiful day for a ride. We put on a little over 200 miles and actually found a couple of "new" tag possibilities.

Don't know if team tagging is kosher, but, riding with a friend is really great. Burnout

By the way - 100 + miles to find a gate to the park. CLOSED  with locks. Mad2 Thought about riding down the joggers lane, but don't need the trouble that far from home. Oh well, ya gotta love it

Thats it - Wibornz posted the pictures, I am back in the cave waiting for the next posting.

See ya there

The second pic is a bonus pic.  It can be counted as the tag, but it will be a good ride to it to tag it with the weather getting colder.

http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm7/wibornz/09-21-08_1001.jpg

So enjoy and go get them.  I have at least two more pics that I want to post as a tag this year.

Matkal and myself had a great ride today and tagged the bonus pick. A bit on the chilly side but nice and sunny. Tried out the new gerbings pant liners. Worked great! Thanks for the great route out Matt. Had fun, have to do it again soon before it gets too cold.
