want to pick up some filthy lucre and teach an old dog a new trick?
While tearing down the 31 Ford in teh motor pool, I keep finding stuff that need replacing -- fair enough, I can do that, and the old dear has lived a long life -- she'll not die on my watch.
Yesterday, though, I found some rot on the body (what would be an inner wheel well on the modern car) -- I know I can get patch panels for (good), they don't cost the earth (better), and I've LOVE to learn how to weld em together --
I"m not a total noob at this, but all my welding has been on heavier stock, and OA (gas welding) --
any welders (pro or amatuer, either one) will to learn me up on welding sheet metal (appears to be 18 ga or so)?

If my location is convenient for you, I would be willing to take a look at what you have.
I have a 1935 Dodge that went through the same exercise, and recently finished some nice welding on a 65 GTO.
