STRANGE DREAM LAST NIGHT

I dreamt I bought a 1098. Must have been the base model because I recall thinking it was 14 thousand.
Red, of course with loud mufflers. Sounded good.
I'm not kidding.

That's a damn fine dream to have... Soon all the Ducati owners are gonna chime in and tell you to buy one and stop dreaming about it
I have to admit, I'm thinking about buying my first Duc pretty soon... Duc and Aprilia are the only 2 model line ups that I am currently enamoured with.

I still dream about my 900SS. I NEVER should have sold that bike.
I might replace it with a 1000DS,
if
when I come across the right deal.
Cheers,
Joe

You can get a real sweet deal on a 1098 right now, with the 1198's release just around the corner. Ooops. I wasn't supposed to let that info out.
. Or you could wait for the Troy Bayliss Replica 1098. Oooops again.

Not to Hijack the "Dream", but what exactly WOULD be a good deal on a 1098? I was down at the local dealer today and he had about 5 new 1098's (some some of them "S" models) and at least 3 used 1098's but only ONE freaking 848. If I was going to try to haggle a bit what should I aim for?

Nice Dream. Even a base model is pretty nice. It's like an 848 but with more torque.

Don't worry, you didn't let anything out. the 1198 is old news and anyone who watched the last round of the superbike championship knows about the Troy Bayliss Replica because the announcers were talking about it.

So did you have to make the walk of shame to put on dry underwear when you woke, or did you just lay there in a puddle of your own fluid?
