Nah I don't recognize that spot at all. Where is it? I'm curious now.

Barnhartvale Road, past the golf course heading towards the junction with Hwy 97 near Monte Lake (well, actually the bike is pointing the other way, the shot is taken looking east).

Yes,  I have a bad sense of humor,   you on the other hand seem to have none.

(m BTW Against the Wind and I have had an ongoing insult fest of East vs West for years,  too bad he's outta hear.)

Sarcasm is just a safe method of delivering hostility.  You can always say it was all just in fun can't you?

Says the guy from Saskatchewan.  Lol Lol

I am only from Saskatchewan now.  I was originally from somewhere else.  Never in a million years did I think I would be settled in Saskatoon.  The best thing about Saskatchewan is, "you can see all the best riding spots if you stand on a 12 ft ladder and you never lose sight of your dog".

Headscratch "Best riding spots in Saskatchewan" is a bit of an oxymoron...

Paraphrasing Thunderbox.  Which is why it was in "quotes" rather than a

I've never been out that way. I'll check it out in the truck first. Looks like it might be some dirt road? There are SO many great roads around here!

Don't think it's dirt, probably just sealcoat.  Haven't ridden Barnhartvale in several years but remember that it was fun.

Barnhartvale is paved all the way to the junction with 97.  Several dirt roads head off of it, though.

The old Hwy 5 (do they call if 5A now?) that heads from Kamloops to Merritt via Nicola is a good ride, too.

I  4 wheeled that road today and I would say a bike would enjoy it 100%

If by any chance are camping near Merritt, take a wee spin on Douglas Lake Ranch rd off of 5a on that WR. Some pretty country through there. Take your time getting here the weather is lousy till Wed.

Camping? well er no....  By the way that Douglas Lake Road was nice for a bit until you come across the construction.... they are replacing culverts.  The cute  flag girl said the wait was 90 minutes so we turned around.
