That's what we're having...and IT IS the bomb!!!  Although I've never heard it described as a "strawberry sparkling wine."   Headscratch

According to Semi-hottie:  The wine is strawberry based and champagne IS sparkling wine but from the Champagne region of France (or whatever).  This latter bit is also confirmed by Wayne's World.

I'm not a big drinker, and especially not wine.  Wine gives me a nasty headache, no matter how little I drink.  Champagne (or sparkling wine) gives me one helluva headache, but it's the only wine I tend to like.  I'd rather have a thick dark beer or a mixed drink.

Still, I'm anxious to try it and toast in the new year.  This has been a really good year for all of us.  I sure hope the coming year heralds as well.

Sheri and I just got back from dinner at The Wine Merchants and had a four course meal with wine flight.  We started out with a sparkling and ended with a sparkling with one Pinot Noir and one Cab/Merlot blend in between.

I'm full.   Inlove

Red grapefruit juice and early to bed for me.  My body is on the dawn patrol, up at 3:30 am and started the coffee.  Breakfast done now, checking the weather for a possible RTE adventure.

Some tasty Fire Rock Ale from the Kona Brewing Company.  Out of an old Dutch tankard no less. I think my grandpa brought it back from Holland after the Germans sent up the white flag.

Bad day as school.

I did.  Today was great again though.  Thankfully bad days are extremely rare for me.

Yesterday after supper it was Oreo shakes- the kid's idea- and boy did they hot the spot!   Bigok

Speaking of Russians, I'm drinking a North Coast Old Rasputin imperial stout. It's my favorite imperial stout and one of my favorite beers, period. What a huge, chewy mouthful of roasty stout goodness.
