+1 I have tried various scotch whiskeys all three ways, but so far for the most part, straight up at room temp is getting the win.   Bigok

This has been my favorite.  I might be getting into another problem.   Lol

Irish Creme tonight.

I don't care for Scotch. Glenfiddich single malt was the only scotch I've ever tried that I could actually drink.

I do loves me a good Cognac however, I like Remy Martin. Got hooked on that for nightcaps when I was hanging with a girlfriend in
New York City several years ago on a regular basis.

After girlfriend went home I'd hit the streets in search of a drink. Got friendly with a bombshell knockout blonde bartender at a real nice joint on the Upper East Side
who happened to love cats and I started to be a regular there, the girl used to take care of me with the Remy big time.

I'm talking half a big snifter full of the stuff for the price of 1 drink. She'd pour me at least a triple every time after I got to know her.

I might grab a bottle this weekend. Havn't had it in awhile.

I loves me some Cotes du Rhone.  Thumbsup

But tonight it's Vicodin and some homemade ginger beer.
I'm feelin' pretty good, too.  Wink

Rather have the wine, though.

Here I am! Last night I made a vodka and diet coke that apparently had the vodka-to-coke ratio a little off. I passed out on the couch before I could post about it and barely remember getting to bed.

I'd like to say it was a lesson learned, but most likely not.

I will be finishing off my bottle of Phillips Union (no, not an entire bottle, just the remnants). Not a bad blend all in all.

Hmm finished off some beer my bro bought a couple weeks back, just 1 & I had 3 Molson Canadians, mixed w/ some pain meds from cage crash, nice buzz.  I started off day w/ java & Irish Creme, I've not mixed that in awhile, was Yummy w/ brunch.

For some reason I get real happy & go on a buying spree when mixing alcohol & meds.  Headscratch  Lol

Had a nice '08 Gabbiano Chianti Classico last nite w/ my new meaty balls recipe. (Unfortunately da espousa drank 3/4 of bottle before I got my hands on it

check recipe here - try em, I guarantee U will love em.

True enough, although I usually reserve that ratio for when irritating relatives come to visit. I had plans for Thursday night, dammit!

After the big day I came home to my brother, his wife, and kids at my house with a cold beer (Founder's Red's Rye) in hand for me.  It was a great time.   Thumbsup  My wife had purchased my favs and had them on ice.  She is awesome.   Inlove  I'm currently in the afterglow of great beer.
