UPDATE: I have recieved an advanced copy of the GPS Route file. The routes plotted out cover 4 day rides based out of Mountain View, from 2.3 to 6.5 hours long.

"I created what I'll fondly reference as the Ball Buster. It incorporates several of the top 10 routes that are not utilized with any of the 4 MV day rides. It's long, covers a lot of territory but should be a hoot. This early in the season, let's see who's got the clankers to tackle this one.", is how our Route Master Denny describes this 462 mile run.

The Saturday ride to Rosner's is a meandering route the includes a chunk of one the Freinds of Freddy routes and some more of Top 10 roads from the book's list.

Adding up the the seven different routes there is almost 46 hours and 1843.60 miles of riding options. What more could a a rider ask for.

I know that this file will be one to save for return trips and wil be shared with all attending.

Hmm, maybe its the PMS getting into my head, but I'm interested.  Have to pass things by SWMBO still, but put me on the "maybe" list.

Funny...  Any idea how difficult it would be to get a room/place to crash if your six reserved rooms are full?  I'm guessing mid April won't be exactly "crowded," but wasn't sure how big of a hotel the Dogwood was.

btw, I rsvp'ed as "maybe" on the facebook invite too.

I saw that you had.

The six room we have will accommodate 12 riders.  We will be releasing the any open rooms if the numbers to do warrant keeping them.    The word is there are still more rooms at this place. There are also several additional choices there too I believe.  I would suggest that you call and reserve a room now even with your maybe.  You can always cancel before and not have any thing charge to you if you decide not to go.

There is a festival  in town that weekend, so I would think that the rooms will be going before to long.

Good to know.  I'll see about getting it on the calendar.

edit - scratch me off the list.  Why are there always "family obligations" when you want to go ride??

Oh well.

I was in Eureka Springs last fall. Killer roads and lot of decent food.
123 is the best one I road for super tight twisty run.

That is a kick ass road. So much so, that I know exactly what you're talking about and it's been about three or four years since I've been down there. I remember going through the one set of switchbacks in a good rain storm with Krismark. Good times.  Thumbsup

Just so everyone knows... 321 is starting to fall apart and the state is NOT going to repave it like it was.  They are using tar and chip to fix the bad sections because they want to slow down the MC crowd.  This is straight from a AHTD supervisor for the area.  I know when we were there last year it was starting to get bad in a few areas.  It's still a good road, just not as good as it was about five years ago.

According to the AHTD supervisor, it's the folks that live on 321 that have requested the tar and chip.  It's also the same thing the Trooper told us when he was giving us our tickets.  The locals are tired of the MC's using the road as a race track.
