The rim clamps on my No Mar changer never did play nice.  I was on their site the other day and seen they have a rim clamp set that screw down.  Gave them a call and asked they were going to be at they show.  They were and offered to give me a hands on demonstration on how these clamps works over the cam type clamps.  AWESOME!

I also want to look at a new tank bag, which my wife calls my man purse.  Needing some new boots as well.  One or the other is going to have to wait, just want to see which is a better deal.

Curious to see what is everyone else looking to get?

Looking for some cold weather gloves...and a new helmet.  My old Nolan still does the job, but I am jonesing for one with an integral sun shield.  Got to be a modular design, though.

I dont know about buying, but I'll be looking to try on the new Nolan N-103 and Shark Evoline helmets. If an Autocom dealer is there running the same specials that are being run on their US website I'll consider that as well. And if a friend comes with-get her fitted for a lid as well.

Anything else, who knows.

i'll tell ya..
I got new on both last year,, helmet was a fortune.. but it is soooo soooo soooo nice!
HJC, sun visor, full face flip, not hot, not cold, not windy, not noisy, not heavy.. nielsens in LV..
Same on gloves, Cortech, lined, jelly pads, knuckle guards,, my hands r toasty for cold riding,, if you wait to long, it will all be warm weather gear and you'll have to wait till fall for a selection,,
They have 12volt gear now too if you really like winter riding..

as for me,, am looking for a little bag for my handle bars or anywhere, for my ipod, cell phone, cigarettes, rolling papers,,, gum,, mini split of kaluha white russian,, o wait thats the boat bag..
LOL, a little leather pouch baggy thingy really! Wink

Hold out - look interested then hesitate a little. He'll start pitching "and if you buy now, I'll throw in..." Bigsmile

That's actually one of the few commercials I get a kick out of watching because his pitch has the polish of something that's been repeated about a million times at shows all over the country. And the headset on TV? Wink

We'll be looking at modular helmets because Cindy and I are wearing eye glasses now. Probably check out the Shoei multitech since I'm happy with my RF-1000.

"CALL NOW! BECAUSE WE CAN'T DO THIS ALL DAY YOU KNOW!"  rofl I think ShamWow had at least 2 or 3 booths in different locations at the Novi, MI show. I could not believe how many people had actually purchased them. ( You can't miss the yellow ShamWow sticking out of those blue Progressive bags). I would bet more ShamWows were sold than cycle gear. I guess the commercials must work. I will be curious if anyone makes the same observation at the Chicago show.

I was there last night and the booth had quite the crowd.  Didn't pay any attention of the bags though, way too much eye candy about!  You know, all the shiny motor scooter n stuff...

Lol  The Sham Wow pitch is, if anything, consistent.  I heard the guy at Clevelend yelling, "I'll tell you what, before this crowed gets any bigger, here's what I'm going to do... we can't do this all day."    Lol

Anyhow, I was set to purchase a pair of new riding gloves and I had my heart set on a pair of Helds.  But, I didn't see any vendors with Held this year.   Sad

I try not to buy anything at the show if I can find it online. If I'm looking to buy, I'd look at items strictly for comparison shopping. Also, there's the dreaded show sales tax, which last year was around 9%? I'm assuming it's 10% or higher now.  Thumbsdown

I was going to buy a mesh jacket and some new gloves hoping that there would be a huge selection of stuff to check out at the show. But the selection was not any better than what my local dealers carry. I was disappointed with the Novi, MI show.  Sad

There were a few dealers at the show selling bikes. Has anyone come home with a new bike from one of the shows?
