So using Google Earth, I'm looking at the Bataan roads, Coordinates 41°44" N 89° 23' W, right?  That's the only thing that seems to fit the description in the area...


the way i got into there was from US30 take robbins rd south to sterling rd west to Peru rd north s. Bataan rd. turn left, (west) about a 1/2 mile. there will be a entrance with a cable blocking it. go another couple of hundred feet and there is a way to get in. a little crude but no problem.

Hey Pops I was thinking about that and wondering what it was like. I just was at the North Little Rock, Ark. Hooters.
They have a theme bike night every Tuesday also. Tonight was the European bike night....not many, but lots of others to look at.

I will let you know when I will be going out there.

Been riding to work pretty much every day.

This little 600 just keeps reminding me how much fun it is. I don't have to work to ride this thing, like I do with mine. It just goes where I point it.

Not that mine doesn't handle well, but it is about 100lbs heavier and has a major problem with keeping the front wheel down...


Taking the bikes to the Dells this weekend for Automotion, then down to do some riding in SW Wisconsin. Its going to be a blast!

Is the lake full now?  I went by there about two weeks after it drained.  Wow.  Same here- I ride pretty much every day now- except today.  I have to pick up the kiddies.  Love the kids, hate taking the truck.   Crazy

I heard on the news that it is full again, and they are currently stocking it with minnows.

I rode today.  I'm heading out now before the weather disimproves even more.

I rode, but on the human-powered cycle today...  Was planning on taking the Sprint up to my folks' place near New Glarus after work, but don't relish the thought of riding in what they're predicting.  I guess we'll just hope the mt. bike trails are open at John Muir tomorrow...  If I'm not riding one bike, I'd better be able to ride the other!

Put a new rear tire on my bike today...had to do a test ride to make sure ok... Lol

I just pushed the GS to the back and rolled the XR600 to the on deck spot.  It's going into action this week while the GS gets serviced for next month's trek to Tellico.  The GS got TKCs installed yesterday and new brakes today.  Early next week, it's brake fluid change time and then do the 78k mile service.
