No fender, instruments, title? Looks like a front end crash and brand new used forks, headlight & wheel.

1979 Honda CBX - $10000 (Thousand Oaks)
You are looking at and potential bidding on a early built (6/78) Silver & Black Honda CBX. I have owned this bike since 1984 and bought it from the original owner. Now for a little about the bike: It has a full and complete OEM factory sport kit installed on the bike and is fully functional. When I say full and complete, I mean not just the handle bars, it has the correct controls, cables and rear-set foot peg position.
The bike has had a few non-stock modification that I will now go into: Starting with the biggest first, the motor has a big bore kit pushing the the CC's to 1158. This was done with Wiseco pistons and a complete Serdi valve job, using brand new stainless steal valves. Along with this work, the carburetors where custom worked for the increase in the CC's along with the no longer available hand bent D&D 6-into-1 exhaust. All of this engine work was done by the very talented late John Cordona, of Fours N More. This work was done by him in the early 90's in California before he moved to the south and then eventually passed away. The secrets of his engine and tuning & carb work is now a thing of the past, but here is your chance to owe a piece of history and his talented work. The 8611 miles is representative of what is on the engine and carbs since the big bore rebuild. The actual mileage on the motorcycle itself, is approximately 40,000.
As for some of the other modifications, I have a custom set of Works Performance shocks, an over-sized 13 row oil coolers, billet aluminum top motor mounts, billet and chromed primary sprocket cover, 530 chain conversion with stock gear ratio, K&N pod air cleaners, chromed alternator cover and brass needle baring kit for the factory swing arm. I have also converted the front wheel to an 18 inch factory Honda matching Comstar, off a 1982 Honda Goldwing. The wheel matches perfectly other then the sharp edge is facing out, where the original faces inside. Also, there are progressive rate springs in the front forks with 2 inch spacers to help with the handling and front end dive. It also has excel coils with 8mm silicone wires.
The paint is 100% flawless and is factory original! I have one 1979 OEM key. I also have the factory shop manual and the microfiche printed, three hole punched and placed in a three ring binder.
As for the factory OEM parts, I have them all, other then the rear shocks and 630 chain and sprockets and front springs and they WILL be included in the sale of the motorcycle. So if you win the bike you will get the parts, so you will have to make arrangements to either have them shipped or picked up. However, I will help with this process.
I am sure I left something out, so I will add things as they come to mind. That being said, please feel free to ask any question you have during the auction and I will do my very best to answer them! As for the extra OEM parts: you get the stock exhaust, that is 90%, the 19 inch front wheel, stock coils, wires, tall bars and rear sets, mirrors and a lot of other small odds and ends.
Now for the terms of the auction: If you are the winning bidder, you must send me non-refundable $500.00 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of the auction ending. The remained of the funds must be paid via certified funds or bank transfer from a nationally recognized bank, with in seven business days. The bike must be picked up within 14 calender days and all of the arrangements and costs associated will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. Please note that this bike is a great piece, however, is not a museum piece (Vic). What you see is what you get (Vic)! If you would like more pictures sent directly to you please feel free to ask and I will get them to you. Furthermore, this motorcycle is for sale locally, thus I reserve the right to end the auction early if the buy it now is not used. Please note, that if you use the buy it now, the bike will come off the market and will be yours.

I didn't know Craigslist was an auction???
Cbx's are expensive, but he's whacked. 10k???
I would think that a CBx with the factory hondaline fairing and matching bags would be worth more than one without.

Not sure if he meant he has done more than 10,000 upgrades, or if he spent $10,000 on upgrades.
- Either way, I'm not seeing it.

2007 Kawasaki KLR650 >10,000 Upgrades - $4000 (NE Heights)
2007 KLR 650 low miles. I've decided I'm not a motorcyclist. Ready to go for adventure touring with top of the line Caribou Cases Pelican cases value $800 professionally installed. Upgraded fork springs and fork stiffener. Doohicky installed. All work done by R&S. I am the original owner.
FAQ
Q. What is the least you will take for the bike?
A. Until you come and look at it and tell me you are interested in buying it, $4000. After that I am willing to move on the price in return for a quick and painless transaction.
Q. Are you interested in trading for [fill in the blank]?
A. Probably not, but you are welcome to make an offer. If your offer is worth substantially less than my item, I will probably ignore your email.
I'm off Wednesday, Friday and Saturday this week. Mornings are best for me.

2005 Ninja zx-6r (636) for tade. Offers will be considered, but yours needs to solid or you better have cash on top. Throw me your offers. Daily drivable vehicles only!!
~21k miles
Salvage title due to a tiny ding in the frame. <-------------
Two brothers exhaust
Lowering links
Fender eliminator
Slim front turn signals
Spool sliders
A few other small things.
The color is pretty uncommon and gets compliments ALL the time.
New Michelin Pilot Power tire on the rear. Has under 800 miles on it. I ride it regularly so that'll slowly rise.
Will throw in gear for the right trade.
$4300. No test rides without cash/trade's signed title in hand.
http://seattle.craigslist.org/oly/mcy/3205938051.html
Guessing this guy knows he will have trouble selling it for the price he wants so is going to try to off load the salvage title on someone else.

No - the bike has a salvage title because you processed an INSURANCE CLAIM - for the BIG EVENT - that caused the "tiny ding" in the frame.
