In all fairness, there's still drag bike builders making full bore top fuel strip machines out of that motor... Might not beat a Busa stock, but it'll still scare him with how hard it is to run away from that 30yr old machine...
LT
In all fairness, looking over the mods list, I still wouldn't think it's a Busa killer. Stock, the bike had 108bhp@8500rpm, with torque of 67.6@6500. So bored over and polishing/porting the heads and adding bigger carbs etc put it over 200 HP? I'd have to see some time slips.

Gorgeous-but look at the price
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BORILE-B-500-CR-Italian-Cafe-Racer-/320866283688?pt=UK_Motorcycles
Borile B 500 CR Cafe Racer
Super rare, and very pretty in that special Italian way.
Believed to be one of the only examples for sale in Europe today. Hand built in Italy by Umberto Borile in the village of Vo in the Padua province. Unique machine, with GM single 500cc motor mated to a 5 speed box. Beautifully finished - alloy frame is an absolute work of art.
If you really want to be different then this must be something to consider.
Comes with original certificate from Borile, comprehensive instructions from the factory and a detailed “vision statement” from Umberto describing the passion behind each of his motorcycles.
All presented in a beautiful wooded box.
Sounds pretty awesome when it’s running, and to be honest will not be for the faint hearted!
A rare chance to own something incredibly rare, and this is number 22 of 49 ever produced.
Price includes 12 months MOT and 6 months tax.
For further details, have a look at their website at
www.borile.it

I am selling my bike because I never ride it. Has 5-speed and clutch. All the lights work. Has 433 miles on it. Have title. Front brake works but the back ABS brake needs to be bled through. Needs carb work. If you're willing to spend some time on this bike it could be well worth it. Willing to trade for a 2-stroke 125cc or 250cc, car above year 1994, really nice laptop plus cash, or a trade plus cash for gas scooter go kart quad or just shoot me some offers for whatever you think a good trade is. Don't hesitate to throw me some offers.

We should ask him where the missing front brake rotor went to.
Believe it or not, it is intentionally removed so you can see the wheeel better. See it all the time at a local shop. The guys come in wanting the stupid swing are kits and bling wheels. The specifically as for a single rotor from setup to show off the wheel.
