-new fairing

-new seat and tail with cable release

-new aluminum bars

-new road race tires with a 170  on rear

-supertrapp mufflers

-fork tubes and all internals

-carbs rejetted and flowed

-brakes front and rear

-gold anodized cafe mirrors that actually work well

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130665997883?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%3A80%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_nkw%3D130665997883%26_sacat%3D0%26LH_PrefLoc%3D2%26_dmpt%3DUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM%26_odkw%3D97%2Blegend%26_osacat%3D0%26_trksid%3Dp3286.c0.m270.l1313%26_fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

And the idjut didn't even sell it when it reached $7,200. And, BTW, 97BHP is complete BS.

Only $60K for this Duc

2008 Ducati Desmosedici D16RR

 VIN # ZDM1ZDFW58B001160
 Full Race Kit
 Fuel Filler Kit
 Magnesium Open Clutch Cover Kit
 Ducati Mini Rear Blinker Kit
 SpeedyMoto Slider Kit Inside Body Work
 SpeedyMoto Front Slider Kit
 SpeedyMoto Rear Slider Kit
 Carbon Rear Mud Guard
 Carbon Tank Protector
 Stand
 Decal Kit
 All Original Equipment Included in Sale
 Original Shipping Crate
 Red cover
 800 Miles

$93,500+ Invested into Bike

Asking $59,950 OBO

That price is actually outstanding, matter of fact it's so low that I suspect a scam.

There were only 1,500 Desmosedici's planned for production between 2007-2008.  The list price in the US was $72,000. The one bike that I actually saw personally sold for well over sticker price at $82,000.   The Desmosedici were street legal versions of the Ducati MotoGP bikes.  The cost covered all services for 3 years and a race only exhaust.   They had under 6 second performance 0-100mph and under 9 seconds 0-140mph.  The majority of the bikes were sold outside of the US.

Given the limited number, and original cost this guy is one of three things: an idiot, extremely desperate, or this is a scam.

That pic just begs to say "Just because you can does not mean you should'

I bet the thought process want something like this "Well I like riding motorcycles & playing my guitar. Maybe I should make a guitar/bike? That way I can do both at the same time"

I hope that's sarcasm - these things were very commonly sold WELL under MSRP - and they're almost always available on eBay for under 50g's... always in mind condition - of course.
