I wonder if Honda is wishing they would have kept Hayden and gotten rid of Pedrosa??
Hayden is 5th in testing at Qatar:

Pedrosa crashed hard and will require surgery on both his arm and his leg:

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

The bottom line is that Pedrosa is simply not as fast as the top guys and pushes himself too hard to match them (which he can't). The only way he'll ever take a championship is if Stoner and Rossi both quit and take up bass fishing.
Notice the lap times BTW. Not even close...good thing we went to that single tire rule.

that's a bit harsh
I'm no Pedrosa fan, but anyone in the top 5 is a heckuva rider
or even top 10

I'll go a step further - anyone in MotoGP, WSB, BSB or AMA is a better rider than 99.9999% of the folks who talk about it on forums.

I'm not saying he's not an amazing rider. Quite the contrary, he's a great rider. But he doesn't have the pace of a Rossi or Stoner and that is obvious by the amount of times he crashes.
When I say top guys I mean his competitors and not someone like me on a forum.

There are a few ex-AMA riders on this board so I wouldn't go that far.

Well, the time sheet shows Nicky is still 1.5 secs behind his teammate. Until he gets closer, Honda is unlikely to regret anything. I hope he gets there. I think he can.
I'm sorry Pedrosa is hurt because I was hoping to see Dovizioso beat him straight up.

Honda Racing managers are fools. They have let all their top talent go. In all motorcycle racing series from Motocross to Moto GP. Not smart if you ask me.

Stoner used to have a reputation for crashing. That sure has changed in the past couple of years.
