As for¨"Spot" and "trust" - anyone who´s fool enough to follow me in this deluge is more insane than I am.  Embarassment

Lmao Good point!

Sorry to hear about the rain.  You probably don't want to hear that it's sunny and gorgeous here today. Wink Course, I'm at work typing this, so you win regardless!

Love you snookums. Inlove  Ride safe 'n' all.

Too bad about the rain!  Probably a good call to reroute. It seems like roads have a tendency to just fall into canyons and arroyos when it rains down there. Have fun. Be safe. Take lots of photos!

I´ll be curious if any of today´s roads show up on a map. I know that some of them were drawn in on my map  EEK!   Anyway, 200 miles and only the first 30 were paved. I´m beat!!!! Probably nothing fun to watch for the rest of the trip; just making tracks for dinner Saturday night Drool

Nope, you were in uncharted territory according to the Spot maps. I saw you heading out the dead end road this morning and wondered...  EEK!

Enjoy a well earned cerveza tonight.

Thanks for sharing, I've been thinking about getting a SPOT, and it is nice to see that it is working for you.  You'll have to give us a report when you get back.

Fun stuff, DD,

Ural Ballast Babe got me a SPOT for Xmas and it's worked fairly well in Spotcasting mode (update every 10 minutes) when I've hiked and snowshoed.  The exception is moderate to heavy tree cover and steep canyons.  No line of sight, no signal.

Here's hoping for blue skies and following winds for the rest of your trip.

I'm back in the States!! In fact, I'm sitting in Mrs. BMW-K's chair, using her computer and waiting for the two of them to come back from breakfast. Steak dinner tonight (I think I deserve it) and then home tomorrow. Considering I didn't see anything on my "list of things to see" while in Mexico, I think I saw quite a bit anyway.

And yes, I'll be sure to share it with you  Bigok

Hmmm - I doubt it. I don't eat much when I'm on long trips and this one was no exception. Hot foods consumed while in Mexico consisted of soup, soup, a hot dot and 1/4 grilled chicken. Yeah, I think that pretty much covers it  Embarassment
