Yeah, I read this too late. I'd be at least 20 minutes late. Ah well, maybe next time.

I'm going to ride around by myself. I am the Lone Rangerette.

(Actually I've been feeling a bit under the weather so wasn't up to an all-day ride. Hope you have great fun.)

Im tired (coffee-caffine crash)and saddle-sore, so Ill sum things up...

-too much fun

-coffee-carmel "milkshakes" taste really good!

-gravel and crappy roads (and the combination) still scare me to death

-matts a freaking hooligan on his KLR- Razz

-nearly everyone had gps'es, except me... guess who's paper, tangible, map they looked at???

-i successfully scrubbed off my Sabre's chicken strips

-Frzy's a great, understanding, ride leader

-We really didnt get lost

-nobody crashed

-I need something for my bum to but on the saddle

-Im the youngest guy, with the oldest bike (go figure)

-we only saw really one pirate, and he was driving a cage

-my Sabre ran great even with the carbs needing to be rebuilt, and without my 5th gear

I spent only around $30 today total for gas, coffee, etc. ,( much more worse and boring things I could have done with that amount)

Lurker can disappear at a moment's notice

-I was about to head home, and then Ed thought itd be a good time to do some boxing, I graciously declined Lol Razz

That was great fun  The weather in Lealand was fantastic.  I got in just under 300 miles for the day.  Mark, Matt and Ed have all of the pictures.  I was too busy riding to mess around with a camera.  I had so much fun, I think I'll stop kickin' puppies for a while.  Thanks Joel.  Another great route.  Good to see you there Jerry.  Hope you had fun and made it home safely.  Untill the next one...

Well, I got to Lealand for the noon meeting over an hour late. Couldn't find anyone or get a phone call through so I figured I missed you. Wandered SE until I got home. Just in time to do some yard work....Can't wait for some more snow.

I didn't get any pics at the Delafield Coffee shop but Matt did I think.

My pics start in CrossPlains.

Lurker had already disappeared.

The Group Photo that missed FRZY.

Figuring out where we are going.

Regrouping after an incredible ride down HWY 60 after we touched 57mph a couple of times. The road was so smooth and clean and dry that it begged us to pick up our pace but we held it to 57 mph.

Pulling into the park in Leland.

I kept going east on HWY 60 then went north on 188 to the east dock for the Merimac Ferry hoping to get a pic of the guys coming off of the ferry. They weren't on it when it got to shore so I took this photo anyway.

Oh yeah, Joel thanks for calling this. Conditions were perfect! in another couple of months it will be to damn hot to ride.

And, I should note, Jerry , it was a pleasure to have you along. It was great that you respected your "ride" and didn't sucumb to the temptations that a young man of your age might.

BTW, I was the oldest on the youngest motorcycle....hehehe

That was a good ride.
Weather was way better then OK.
It felt good to get a 300+ mile day in early April considering what is expected today.
No pics from me though I did take the camera it never made it out of the bag.

See y'all at another meet in your neighborhood  Lol

Not too many pics from me this time. ?What? Twofinger

Meeting spot - Stone Creek Coffee. Nice spot. The parking lot has a sweet jump leading up to it so we'll have keep this place in mind.

Here comes Joel

It's spring time. This robin told me so.

Ride, ride, ride - somewhere outside of Pine Bluff. -

Joel giving Jerry the run down of how we do things. Thanks Joel and thanks Jerry for listening. You might not know but everyone else in this group today has ridden thousands of miles together and understand how everyone rides. It's important to stay within your comfort zone, because minutes after this pic I will be following Joel down that gravel filled twisty road like a dipshit with his ass on fire. That was so much fun!

This is Ben, the puppy kicking badass's, glamour shot.

I split up with the group just before Salk City I think. I went to look for gravel but didn't find much.
Here I am taking a pic of my bike on a road with no traffic, which is good.

It was good there was no traffic because of this.

I should have taken another pic from a different angle because this is kind of mid corner and it looked very much like like I crashed.
The kickstand just sunk in and bang! Oh well, it's fine.

Then I rode home.

It was a good day.
Looked what happened to my peg when I let Joel lead me around.  Bigsmile

1st- When we talk about the ride no one runs out of gas,  gets left behind or lost. Good group rides are when everyone has fun  Thumbsup
2nd- Matt, you don't need to follow me to grind up those pegs. I can't wait till the track day to see how many times I get passed by you  Lol

As always it's a great time when riding with fellow STN members  Thumbsup
