Ended up trading, instead of selling for cash as planned, my 1098 for a leftover 2008 Hypermotard 1100S. I wish I'd done this a long time ago.

Very nice! How does it sound now?
I see you put that thingie back on the rear tire. It must be worth having even though they look kind of odd.(?)

My little old digital camera doesn't do it much justice. I tossed on the rear mud guard because the roads were wet yesterday when I went for a quick ride.

Heh.
As it happens, right after that photo a sheriff's deputy rolled up and turned on his lights. He just wanted to make sure I wasn't having any trouble and when I raised my visor and told him I was just taking some pics, he waved and drove off without giving me any guff.

Sweet. Looks good, and sounds good even as recorded by your cam.
Curious to see this exhaust bracket you're fabricating...
But seriously, WTF?! No S-T.net stickers anywhere?

Lookin' good!
Need to put the camera on pointing rearward and do some recording of the new exhaust system.

Okay, the sound is bonerific, but how does it ride, man?! Part throttle/low rpm hesitation? Driveability? Engine braking? Change in mass moment of inertia as you transition side-to-side? I am really curious!
I am wondering if getting that exhaust should be next on my list of things to do...

What, he didn't offer to help with the lighting?!
