Had to fix the shifter linkage in a parking lot.

Stopped to have a cup of coffee after doing some photo tagging and when i went to ride away i dropped it in gear and something didn't feel rite.

Those darned unreliable FJR's - can't even make 210,000 miles without the shift linkage breaking.

Yesterday I installed a fresh set of Dyna Beeds into my new rear tire while it was still mounted.  That was much harder than doing it while changing the tire.  The Beeds didn't want to go around the 90-degree stem till I started pushing them in with a bicycle pump.  It took patience and time.

This morning I finally tested out my electric vest for this year.  Widder screw connectors be damned - the wire pulled out on me once again while making my errand stop.  I had to borrow a ladies' credit card multi tool to hobble it back together.  Upon returning home I listened to some German techno in my underwear and cut that damn Widder screw connector out of my life by replacing it with a moulded one.  Fick Ja!

St. Nick dropped off my birthday present on the 6th today.

A nice Givi 46 topcase for my Kawi C-10.  A nice mounting kit completed the deal.

Thanks, Santa!

Cannot wait to get it mounted up this weekend.  But I winterized her so I will wait until Spring to really see how it rides.  And how the Wife likes the fit to the backrest.

What did I do to my bike today?  Not a thing.  Xmas is wearing me out and needed to be lazy today.

Shoulda been changing my tires.  Kinda squared off from I-8/10 coming home from San Diego in 18 hours flat.

I can't remember at least 10 hours of that from the highway hypnosis. Headscratch
