Or you could drill a hole in a piece of metal plate.
Actually, I did that with a piece of plastic when I had my DRz.

Yes, but then you have to buy an overpriced mount.
Only if you want to... I used Zip ties to secure my Powerlet plug on a rental in Spain... I've also used Zip ties on both of my bikes here in the states. Works really well.

I know. Zip ties are what's holding my WalMart 12V outlet to my bars.
Zip ties are your friend.

Avon Storm II's.
Me too.
Mounted the same outlet on the left side fairing and steering stem mounted the Ram. I'm running Pirelli Angels on my ZRX 1200. Ventura rack mounted up.

Installed a Thunder air kit on the VN2000, flashed a matching map, and took a short test ride.
Now, just to pull the shock, compress spring and back out the preload collar about 5mm and I'm done with non-cosmetic stuff (I think).

In regards to the 12v cig plug rigs,
I run this from my tender lead into the headphone gate in my tank bag. I can plug various things in there and run the line to the GPS through the zipper opening.

Installed new bar risers. Had to snip a few zipties but I got just enough slack to run them. 1" up and 1 and a quarter inch back.

That is one nice rack. That looks like some quality work.
All you need to do is paint it green and white and it would like it came from the factory.

Here You go Doug
THe background noise of steam escaping is my youngest, telling me to be quiet while I film
The pegs allow me to shift my stance more while standing. Instead of the ankles pivoting the whole foot will rock back or forth. The amount of movement is small but it does make the bike more comfortable. The pivot pegs look like bear traps, the grip of the pegs is unmatched feels like there is no way in the world my feet could possibly slip off the pegs.
A bit on the $$$ high side but considering almost nothing for that big pig of a bike is cheap
P.S. I removed a set of Fastway pegs. They were great, wide and I am more than happy with them. Truth be told I was thinking of getting a set of the pivot pegs and while over at Adventure Designs for another item I bought the pegs on a spur of the moment decision.
I have only ridden to work and back with them so far but I think they are going to stay
