Well, Bill (blkhrt81) has generously offered me his Trophy 1200 for a very good price. So I might be back on the road soon.

Washed it and removed the flyscreen for summer riding.  It's nice to see the twin chrome headlamps fully once again.   Thumbsup

That was yesterday.  Today I just rode it to work.

Good to hear about the Trophy, Papa.

Checked the brake pads after this weekend's wet WV trip.  They still look good.  I guess they are just a little noisy in the wet.

A very thing coating of graphite grease on the back side can put a stop to that.

Last night, I changed the oil/cleaned the chain and it's still popping.   Called my shop and they have the parts, so today it's new chain and a set of rear pads.  Ready for the weekend of touring.

got the bodywork back from the shop and installed it.   What do you think of the new paint job?  Tomorrow I'll put the Suzuki stickers on it.

Shimmed the needles (carbs) with two SS #4 washers, and turned the air screws out 3 turns.

No more nasty low end stumble and hesitation.

Well as we all know, red IS the fastest color. And the black gives it a touch off stealth.  Wink

Sorry, I was playing with the dog. Anyway, the GSXR750 is probably the best everyman sportbike ever built IMHO. I'd love to have one in the stable.

Looks like you'll be using it for a trackday bike.  Enjoy.  Bigok

Thanks.  So far, I only had one track day with it and it's a brilliant track bike.  I now understand why I see so many of them at the track.  This one has been heavily modified too.  I got a heck of a deal on it.
