I stared at it longingly in the garage, thought about getting it a baby brother, smiled about my wife's reaction to me bringing home a new bike, and left it behind.  It's not a bad day in Chicago either, but I needed to drive the wife and kids home from the city (dinner with in-laws near my office and wife won't have a car....)

Oh well, there's always May.

Gave it a tender five minute chamois dusting in lieu of the good thrashing it would have loved.  Sad

How did you manage to destroy the clutch?

Testing the next size Nitrous jet. Apparently the clutch was already weak....

$#$#%^$# thing that pisses me of is that it uses a non-available 50mm socket for plate removal, and someone borrowed mine from the toolbox and never returned it.

I really need a lockup clutch for this engine, but it wasn't available when I put it together.

What did I do to my bike today?

Fired her up and took her for a ride up to Lake Thonotosassa. This is a rarity......not the ride, I do it all the time, but this is the first ride I've taken in months without having a passenger. Felt different. Nice, but different. The ST seemed to like it, too!

Took her out for the daily commute today.  Upper 50's this morning with heavy fog and a windy 79 degrees on the way home.

Washed it, installed Oxford's, then pushed it back in the garage and played basketball with my boys.

On the Kawasaki ,I finally put a Ermax hugger on ,and a Alaskaleather sheepskin pad on the seat.I installed the windshield from Mikes shields (our own GTiV20turbo)to replace the small stock one.FYI the winshield is great, and I am going to do a full review on it after my national trip.

Searched UK eBay for heated carbs. Waiting for my brother to wake up. Gonna take him up to where the snow along the road is higher than the bikes. Patiently waiting for him to go home so I can continue to get aquainted with my new pseudo moto. Shouldn't have any carb icing issues today, good cold dry Canadian air coming across the lake. Thank you Gerbings. Thank you Klaus for the service/rebuild on the Wilbers Bigok

Synced the carbs.  Picked up a Morgan Carbtune last week and love it.  Much much nicer than the old stick type balancer.  It is also pretty compact, enough so that even in it's case it fits in the tool bax drawer.  In addition to the carbs, this week I have also added a power outlet for the GPS.

Tomorrow I'm putting a new fairing on the FZ (Previous owner had a mild tip-over and it's got a broken part on the corner), stripping down the parts bike (finally - son will be helping), putting new bars on Will's bike. I might finally get around to assembling and mounting my tire machine.

... maybe. It's been in the box for about a year now...

Took the tarp off, rolled it off the stands, washed it, took pics of it, and put it on craigslist. If it sells in the next week I will buy another one. If not I will buy new tires A steering damper and ride it for another season. Now it's snowing Headscratch
