I left it sitting in the carport. Snow on the ground today, and pretty cold. But I rode it this past Saturday and Sunday, and will probably ride it this Thursday and Sunday (and possibly Saturday).

I rode the TransAlp to work, then over to Epic to check on the status of the 'busa, then over to the house Rita wants so she can get my opinion before we put an offer in.

Rode it to work, will ride it home.
Well, I was half right. I pulled out of the parking lot and did this instead:
I washed out the front end on some gravel, I'm okay but now I have to wait for a part for 1-2 weeks
. Oh well, gives me time for some other stuff I guess.

I rode the bike to work and back. That's all.
Then I had to pick my car up from the dealership. I lost track of how long it had been since i drove it (6 weeks as it turns out) and the battery died. We're talking dead. I hooked the battery tender up and it just laughed quietly under it's breath. Subaru came and got the car and replaced the battery under warranty.

Took the rear tire off the F800GS, wanted to put on a new knobbie, but I will need to come up with a method to break the bead. Been messing, trying to use the center stand and other tools I could carry with me, but can't make them work. I think I'll get C-clamp tomorrow.

Today - nothing. Yesterday installed a Warm n Safe permanent mount Heat-Troller in my fairing, replaced a crappy stock nylon cord saddlebag lid retainer with 1/16" aircraft cable, and went for a ride.

I did something for/to each of mine today:
Monster: got it registered - new license plate to bolt on when I bring it home next week
KLR: broke in the new piston rings (ZED actually took it for the inaugural ride) then I changed the oil & filter. Now it is ready to ride!
XT: figured out what caused the camshaft to break on Sunday --- the teeny weeny oil gallery that feeds the head was clogged...

Just frick'in flogged it on So Cal freeways. I fixed up my DL1K a couple weeks back. It's been a long time that I could do a run down to Torrance and back, usually I go down there to pick up lots'a computer shit...need the cage. This time it was only for boring meetings...no cage required

Well the weather here as actually been cooperating a bit. It hasn't sn... precipitated in a few days now (sshh, don't say the S word
).
So, today, I flogged my little thumper (WRX) until the rev limiter buzzed! (many times I might add)
I think it likes it.

I cut a tire width wide trench down my driveway. The side roads are breaking up where the sun hits them and I should get out for the first ride of the year tomorrow.
