Once, by accident, I saw greench440s garage first hand. It scared me for life. Wink It was so nice and clean, I never forgot. Lol
So now I finally have a 3 car garage, with one bay for my bike. Chili The house is still taking up my time, but the space is finally there to make it into what I want.

Right now, the whole garage is covered in sawdust. Rolleyes

OK!  Nice pics of garages here... but I don't believe ANY of the neat ones! Can't happen!

I built a nice little garage that should have been 'just right' (like Goldilocks said).
But this happened to it...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2006-07-09.jpg

And it only got worse when I tried to clean it up for projects...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2007-10-13.jpg

and travesties like this were happening all the time...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2009-08-29.jpg

and sometimes drastic measures were taken for important events...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2009-04-06.jpg

that would lead to great unrest in the 'domestic world'... "Why does the house smell like a car body shop" she would say as she came in the front door (as I was smuggling out the last pieces from the sunroom...)

"Piss on this!" I thought to myself! Need to build bigger!

Cut down trees!!!

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2008-10-262.jpg

Dig big muddy hole!

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2008-11-285.jpg

Fill in big hole and pack it all down...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2008-11-2824.jpg

Start building before it gets too col.... Aw shit!!

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2008-12-18.jpg

No sense in stopping now... (Maybe just no sense...)

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2009-01-03002.jpg

The stinging pain of frostbite eventually fades, you know?

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2009-01-11.jpg

...and eventually, it all comes together and now there is SO... MUCH... MORE... ROOM!!!

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2009-12-07.jpg

Right??  RIGHT!??

Well... No actually... It's all back to a mess again. Nature abhors a vacuum.

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2011-12-103.jpg

6 different bikes have lived in this mess over the last 3 years, plus all the rest of the junk...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2011-12-106.jpg

Sometimes you see them peeking out, and sometimes you can find stuff...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2011-12-104.jpg

But most of the time, not...

http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff227/Design3D/2011/Garage%20story/2011-12-108.jpg

I give up...  Shrug

Maybe if I just build ANOTHER one a little further up the hill... Headscratch

Yeahhhh... That might work...

at some point you need a dumpster, Lol

i have an abundance of tools so i said screw it and set a tablesaw at the end of the road, i figured somone would scoop it up and be gone but i was out and my kid calls and says some guy wants to know how much you will sell it for so he crapped when i said just take it,

so every week i will put another tool down there and see how long it last , maybe film them garbage picking lol

Remember this mess in my utility garage under the house?

http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c132/doog71/Garage/DSCN2610.jpg

I finally started to clean it up and I was able to bolt the tire changer to the floor today.  Whoot!

First, I added shelves to the back to help organize storage and Christmas stuff.

http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c132/doog71/Winston%20Salem/Mallard/DSCN2655.jpg

Next, I took some junk to the dump and Goodwill and started organizing my stuff on wheels.
