Hey Ice you beat me to the punch!

I had a great time meeting you and the others.  As this was my first National meet I was happy with the rides and location.

I will post picture (or a link) this weekend!

Thanks all   Smile

I'm one-third of the way home.  I already miss those canyon roads.   Sad

Leanintree's are home, with the Birdrunner's sent off with at least 2 more days of maps. My wrists are burnt.

had a nice ride down black canyon something then on down 141 Inlove

ran across a few other STNers, caught a little weather

stayed in Moab last night. went out on to Dead Horse and about 20 miles of White Rim Trail . Decided to turn around due to being all alone and not registering to ride the trail that and no extra fuel or camping gear.  Chili looked like he was having fun though and S now has a red dust look going on

Anywho back n Moab having lunch at the internet/cafe/bakery.

Headed down to Mexican Hat then west word

Will update with pics later as the camera battery died (being charged by the hawti at the bakery)

In a motel just west of Zion Natl Park, with another week to get the rest of the way home. Jim's road suggestions were made of 100% awesome: 141, 12, Moki Dugway...mad props man, I owe you a beer or two at WCRM .5 or whatever.

Excellent to meet all you folks and safe journeys to those still on the road. Pics when I get home.  Smile

Barb and I came up through Estes Park and are holed up at Ft Morgan for the night.  Barb says thanks for the Fat Tires. We are definitely sad to be out of the mountains and wished we had more time.  It was nice meeting everyone and will plan for it again soon.

Merrily and I are in Cedar City UT. We made it through Arches yesterday (saw Mcgyver there) and made it to Green River last night (thursday) and we went through Bryce Canyon NP today. We just finished dinner and enjoyed some fine 3.2% Porter  Rolleyes
We also did 12, 141, 550 and some other roads too. Today was nice and warm and the tar snakes were slippery. Utah, love your vistas, but please, fix the roads properly! No more tar snakes, chip seal and lousy skim coated asphalt over sand  EEK!

I'm home, it only took 2 days instead of 3.  No speeding (and no tickets).  Going from 36 degrees at the top of some Colorado passes Thursday morning to 99 degrees later that same day in Kansas kinda sucked.

Hell, yes!  Just south of Montrose, I wound up waiting for half an hour for a chipseal crew.  When we finally got to go, it was dead fresh.  I mean, they had JUST poured the gravel.  My ass was chewing on the seat something fierce.   Crazy

Man, 550's a great road, but the endless construction zones and buckets of chipseal have got to go.

Muddawg and I are in Lewiston, one day from home.  Just finished Lolo pass after starting with 100 miles of rain from Dillon MT.  Weather is mid 70s and broken clouds.

The ride from Gunnison to Rock Springs WY was awesome.  92 out of Gunnison then a 6000 ft climb and descent over Grand Mesa.  The ride from Grand Junction to Rangely on 139 was a suprise,  heavy cross winds then a really neat pass then boring to Rangely. 191 from Vernal through the Flaming Gorge was awesome, highly recommended

Rock Springs to Dillon was pretty booring except for 191 between Pinedale and Jackson, and Teton Pass. otherwise it was a "get there" day.

No sign of LOLOUNDERTOW between Missoula and Lewiston Bigsmile
