Went down in some gravel the other day on the left side.

Need left side mirror, clutch lever, left side crash guard/bar, various left side plastics (sapphire blue), front fender.  Limited funds, so most important are mirror and clutch lever.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your  incident.  I can feel your pain.  I don't have any leftover plastics  as I was able to refinish the left and right  side lower farings.  I did have to replace the left mid as that was beyond repair.

did you damage the hard bags??

I'll check when I get home tonight as I might still have the stock clutch lever around some where.

Hey Gerry, thanks for the response from an old Stamford boy!

Bags are scratched up pretty thoroughly, but not broken.  What DID break is the latch that the left bag locks into.  Must've bent something; I can't see anything actually broken.  We got home late last night, so I haven't had a chance to go over it all carefully in the driveway and properly inventory the damage.

Thanks for the help and encouragement!  Thumbsup

the latch your  refering to, is that the one the key fits into??

I was able to refinish my side  case using automotive body putty (no cracks  or punctures) then repainted using Dupli-color truckbed liner (3 coats) and evened off the color with two coats of flat black.  did the same to the left and right lower bellypan halves.

The outer infill panels are approx $174.

The only piece that gave me trouble was the metal tongue (it's attached with pop rivits) on the back half of the side case that fits into the key latch.  That piece can not be purchased seperately.

Attached is a pix of what the refinished pieces look like (except its the right side).  The blue Sprint is mine the green one my friend Mark's.

Correct; the single point down below where the hardbag attaches with a sort of tongue and locks in.

That's nice work you did!  I'm not even too worried about the cosmetics for the moment.  First I'd like to get everything working right.  I took off the right side panel, and several attachment points/tabs are broken as well as spots in the panel itself.  I just took the crash protector off.  That's a bear to get on and off.  I'll have to see if a local aftermarket shop has them.

At least the bike rode okay for the 300+ miles home.

I have a Blue 01 ST sitting in my garage as a part's bike  Thumbsup  Thumbsup

There are no front plastics or mirrors - but I think there could be a lot that you might need.

If you send me list I will check it out tonight and post a pic when I get home.

Hey Gerry, thanks!  I could use the clutch lever.

BTW, I figured out the problem with the left side hardbag.  In the fall, the 'tongue' of the bag that latches in the lock on the bike got straightened out and the mating point on the lock was bent.  I didn't figure it out 'till I happened to look at the right side bag.  "Hey, those don't look the same..."  Headscratch  A bit of bending  and it works again; if not perfectly.

Spent the day with JB Weld attempting plastic repairs. We'll see how it works.  Air Bob has a mirror for me, so all I need now is to get the frame slider.  I didn't realize that bolt is the attachment point for the motor to the frame...
