Ed, someone has stolen the kickstand off your dirtbike!  Lol

Never understood why dirtbikes don't have kickstands. For most of us, the extra 1/2 lb. doesn't make a difference.

it's a racing bike and don't need any extra weight and in the event of a crash your foot won't get caught under it and get hurt. any ways there is a triangle that goes in the rear axle to hold it up.

Well Guys,
Something came up at the last minute, I was planning on still riding up to Milwaukee to see everyone off but was not able to do that either.

Sorry DavidLSI...Hope you did not wait too long at BP/McDonalds.

I hope everyone has a great ride, the weather looks amazing and my bike probably will not get to leave the garage.

Next Time.

Ride Safe.  Bigok

Most of us are here now. Despite my early lead the ST.N pack did beat me here (so I got lost...what's your point?). Beautiful day for a ride & only one reported off road excursion (I got a pic, not anyone who posts here), and one performance award (same thing).

Now everyone is standing around swapping tales from the road. Oh, and people are still rolling in too, so I wasn't last.

I am able to see where people find the videos I post and enjoy following it backwards to see the comments......  I found this on the WildGoose.com forum
Quote
This is a pretty cool yearly event. The cheesy video some guy took sort of explains the event. I'm on the 850T and you can see the competition. It was pretty cool to win it again on a bike so much older than what I was up against. Beat the second place guy by 20 minutes on a 400 mile trek on at least 30 roads or so. Got me a nice $294  speeding ticket, 85 in a 55 after a hard braking! Just had a blast!

In what I thought would be my least paid attention to video is turning out attention from Australia.  You Tube shows you the referring link to who has viewed a posted video.  Also is shows when/where one is embedded.  I enjoy following this backwards to see if there is any talk, and what was said.  It is not surprising when the link or embeding is posted by someone in the video or involved with an event.

But the M2M clips have shown up on two motorcycle forums on the other side of the world....

On this site I registered and spoke up in response to one of the posts.  One of the riders there had questions.
http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h34/DavidLSI/misc/australia-remark.jpg

I love the title of this riders thread

http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h34/DavidLSI/misc/Perth-remark.jpg

Maybe it is a little self indulgent but I find it very cool that a home video I posted is being viewed on a land far far away....

David -- I don't believe its self indulgent  at all -- blogging and posting on the interweb is only half of communication, and humans are definately comminicators . . . . it's fun to have the commo be two way, and to have folks respond . . . . . good for you!
