First things first.

 Lol

And the official tag, as good as it gets with my camera at dusk under heavy cloud cover:

I couldn't get them to move the glider into the same position as the first photo.  And yes I tried the flash - it just made the bike stand out and the background completely black.  I had drizzle to light rain the whole way there and back, and caught nearly every red light on 132 getting to 611.  Once I turned off 611 towards Van Sant Airport, the woods looked like the frikken Enchanted Forest from the Wizard of Oz, with mist rising from the road.  The bugs were almost as thick as the rain at that point, too.  Heading home, Rt 32 had some standing water to navigate, and 263 had way too many jerks who like to leave their high-beams on.   Mad2

Since it was dark by the time I took those pics, and now it's after 10, you bishes will have to wait until tomorrow for the next tag.  I should have it up in 24 hours.  Oh, and I will make it convenient for me this time.

For the record, that's Van Sant Airport, coordinates: 40*29'03"N  75*05'59"W.

Hmmm...my SPOT tracker didn't send a signal for over an hour up in that area.  Must be the foliage cover.

Bravo!!! pun intended  Bigok.  And who was that  Twofinger for, eh?  Those are fighting fingers!  Like I said, if I ever get the tag again I will put it so far out of reach you will need your sleeping bag to bring it back.

And major kudos for getting it in the dark.

I'm surprised the sky came out that light - it didn't look that light in person.  It was dusk when I got there, and pretty much dark by the time I snapped a few pics.  I would have had a little more light if I could have caught just one or two green lights on Street Road on the way there.

I'm working until 5 today.  Rain or shine, I'll do my best to put a new tag up tonight.  The weather will determine how far I ride to get it.

36 hours is not much time during the work week to find something surrounded by nice roads, especially when you live in Philly and you have to ride an hour just to get to some nice roads.  I originally headed over to Neshaminy Mall to get a pic with the large totem-pole mall sign, but apparently after several decades of it being there, someone thought it was in poor taste and now the huge sign pole is plain white instead of adorned with totem faces.  So, I found this one:

http://b12power.com/vfr/bravotag1full.jpg
(Click on the image for a larger version.)

Rest assured the photo was taken in PA.  I took more photos closer to the bridge, but I wasn't sure about the photo tag rules concerning "private property".  The marked private property still allows for public access but cautions that you proceed at your own risk and instructs people to stay on the paved road.  Methinks the signs are more for liability waiver than as a trespassing warning.  Anyway, this pic was taken before you enter the private property.

Some hints: this bridge was first opened to traffic on May 1, 1931 and has a total length of 2,301 feet.  Oh, and I didn't ride far from home, since I spent some time after work taking off the racks, putting on the rear seat cowl, tightening up the exhaust slip-on, and running a hose over the whole bike to get the last 2 rain storms off of it.

I was worried I'd run out of daylight again, then you'd be stuck with a tag outside my work tomorrow morning, and I don't think you wanted to ride into downtown Philly in this summer heat.

Yeah, I had some nice spots in Delaware County and even back up by Allentown in mind.  If I had a full day, I know some nice spots on the Susquehanna (which I'm gonna hit this Sunday after the Ephrata meet).  But they're all out of reach on a weekday, for getting a daylight pic anyway.
