Yikes the, now three latest posts. I've got a lot of questions but I'll start with just one. 2007, black, 200 miles, demo bike, the dealer just wants to get rid of it. I have no idea what it's worth. Anybody care to offer an opinion?

He has said he is not looking to make a profit. Similair bikes on Cycle Trader are $10k ish but I believe he will go lower. Again I have no idea what a dealer would have invested in this.

The current offer is $11,711 for the 2007 Adventure, that isn't counting tax, documenting, title, state and tire tax, $12,783.88. What say you all. Opinions etc welcome.

When I purchased mine last 09, there were several 08 left overs out there for $11,000 new from dealers which acquired inventory from other dealers that went out of business.

FWIW, I paid 11,500 for my 08 before tax and title.

No problem.  Here's a link to another '08 leftover in Pittsburgh for an example.  $12,000 for a bike which lists for $16,000 is hard to beat.   Bigok
