If I can attend, and given recent financial events this is getting more remote, can I ignore people I meet who are ignoring me?

We'll get name tags made up that will have people's real and screen names on them.  As Paul said, you can ignore them in person as you do on STN.  

If the people who are ignoring you on STN are true to themselves, they should avoid you in person.   Therefore, no extra effort will be required for you to avoid them.

  I'm looking to split a room, too. My previous roomy has become non-committal due to work.
I was hoping to find someone to split room costs which would allow me to extend my stay.
I could arrive as early as Saturday and stay through Wednesday evening. I need to leave
for home on Thursday morning.
  Five nights split would cost less than three night alone. If anyone is interested, let me know.
As I've said before, I'm not fussy but prefer a non-smoker.
  And FWIW, I snore so earplugs are advised.

On another note, my wife and I will also not be attending, contrary to previously held beliefs.  Sadly, the addition on the house is likely to be happening right at the same time.  Happily though, said addition includes a large garage and bike cave.

Frost is out now, I think.  People up the street are building a house and have the hole dug already.  I am waiting for drawings so I can get permits so I can start.  Stupid draftsman we had screwed us up and now we are behind about a month.  Oh well, more riding and garage dreaming while we wait.  The weather here is awesome.

I always bring a box of labels and a few Sharpies to these things. I'm the same way with names.
