The advantage is that they print on demand so there's no initial outlay of funds, no need to guess a count for a print run, no set up fees. You just upload the design and people can order what they want.

I agree that they are convenient, if nothing else. That's why I continue to use them for the annual STN Calendar

March is here.  Before you know it, we'll need to have our design in to the t-shirt vendor for time to make and distribute some STN National shirts.

Has anyone thought of any ideas?  There was some traction about a nuclear fallout shelter based theme.

Who's an artist out there that would like to post up an idea or two?

Here's a hacked-together, not-ready-for-production, first-pass, concept-only (enough qualifiers there?) idear...

I'd like to see Sport-Touring.NET and 2010 National all in the same font and outlining. Skipper... what's the font?

Some reproportioning and tweaking.

A caption in the white space left of the hand... maybe "We wuz here!" or something similarly witty.

But anyway...

I played with maddjack's suggestion from post #2 in this thread, and it looks like it would make a cool back. With the new logo, "National Meet" and dates on the front breast, I think it would make a cool shirt.

I'll have to let someone with better graphics software redo or depixel-ate this, but here's the rough mock-up.

Motioned, second, voted, I's have it!   Bigok

I like this one because it's relevant to the area, it's catchy, and it's simple.

Now all we need to do is clean it up with a font and pick a shirt maker to send the graphic to and get the shirts ready for order.

Do we want a shirt w/ the STN logo on the front (small) with this graphic on the back (large).  I believe we'll need to add "Sport-Touring.Net National Meet 2010."

Yes IMHO, the front logo adds a nice touch, and the STN national meet addition is a MUST

If you go with Desteenation for the shirt production I'd be that Peter already has the artwork for the logo  Thumbsup

I'd agree that the logo should be front (and offset to the left, like usual) and then the big artwork can go on the back. I also like the nuclear twisties artwork. Good job  Smile

I like option 1 the best.  I believe including the text inside the warning sign is too busy.

Nice work.

DD, do you believe Peter has the new STN logo (i.e. banner at top left of website)?  I'm guessing that's what we should go with.

Cheers.

I believe the words Nuclear and Twisties should be on the same line and STN 2010 should be above the graphics.  Leave the three mountain tops uncluttered.
