Reminds me of everytime I try to ride in sand.

I just cant. Period.

One of my buddies invited me to ride on some of the trails in Northern Michigan.

After about 2 hours of picking myself up and straightening the bars. I said to hell with it, and drank beer the rest of the day.

The next week I was so sore....

I love riding up in Michigan. The sand is tricky. Once you get the hang of it, it is a hell of a good time.

great vid..  just gos to show.. no matter how much you spend on upgrades.. bikes that big and heavy just don't do well in sand..  or mud for that matter..
as a KLR owner.. LOL . i try and avoid both as much as possible

I haven't ridden in sand in a long time, but I never remember going through anything that soft that would eat my front wheel that fast.  I think I'll stick to forestry roads  Bigsmile
