I haven't seen the movie but I can relate to feeling depressed after reading ride reports from our members in So Cal this time of year.  The most I can do is sit on my bike in the garage and make vroom vroom noises, but that just doesn't cut it.    Winter Stinks......

This is as depressing as the news article accusing "Avatar" of being racist. Twofinger to them for their comment.

Can't ride, dumb people, stuck in the office.

On another board I clarified that it was actually Cameron's previous film Titanic that is racist.

We really have raised a generation of fucked up individuals if a movie, with a basic story line as in Avatar can screw with their heads. What a bunch of no life idiots. Its lunch time, I am going for a ride.  Twofinger

Read the article. It isn't the story line, it's the sexy aliens.

I'm not sure its the whole generation but just a few select idiots. Something every generation can claim.

(CNN) -- James Cameron's completely immersive spectacle "Avatar" may have been a little too real for some fans who say they have experienced depression and suicidal thoughts after seeing the film because they long to enjoy the beauty of the alien world Pandora.

Look, I figure if you're going to admit to, and talk about, having suicidal thoughts, then have the decency to follow through.

Do they have a "Navis versus Smurfs" thread there yet?  That'd be a good one.

OK rub it in.

Your so cruel..... :pokestick:

Just remember that when you get your next big earthquake and CA slides into the Pacific all us guys here in the New England will be enjoying 78 plus degree tremor free riding four months out of the year on stable roads. (we won't mention the plethora of potholes and frost heaves though)  Bigsmile
