I attended Region 4 track days for 2 years and I have to admit that these were the most fun track days I had.  I was waiting to see if Mr. Clean would continue the tradition this year, but looks like the organization we had helping is in the past is no longer into trackday business, so I decided to try to organize something similar myself this year.  I don't post much here, but people that were on the track days, probably remember me, I am the Russian Guy who brought few of his friends to this event before.  

So, here is a scoop for this year.  

The date - June 9th, the place - Blackhawk farms raceway, the organization - Motovid, www.motovid.com
The cost, - $150 per rider, it includes lunch and a DVD with trackday video.  Video is really good, here me in the last years motovid day video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLvFQQXrkNc ( I know, I sucked)

we need at least 20 riders to commit and pay before March 20 to secure the day, Total number of riders will be 30, I will have my friends from ChicagoRussianRiders.com to cover the spots that will be left unclaimed, but I don't really have that many friends Smile

The rules for the group will be as Intermediate level rules with passing allowed on straights and in corners on the outside.  Pretty sure Bus stop will be closed for passing.

Please post  and when we will get close to 20, I will start accepting payments.  We need to pay in full by the end of March, there will be no refunds, or cancellations, but you will be able to sell your spot if you can't make it, usually there is a standby list.

I don't have the balls to take my RT there. Raced a FZ600 there back in the day. If I could "borrow" a bike, well then......... Lol

we've had all kinds of bikes at the STN outings over the past 2 years. Although no one has brought a 2 stroke. Anyway, you would not be the only one.

Samal, add me to the list. And if you need help with stuff, just let me know. Some things I can't do from 300 miles away, but I suspect not much happens face-to-face until the day of the event.

This year I won't go to the concession stand until I see if the Russians have any leftover lunch food!
