These guys might be right by you.

 Ability Welding Svc Incorporated
(630) 595-3737
500 Meyer Rd, Bensenville, IL 60106

I use them just about every week for work related stuff. They are great with tool steel.

Give them a call.  VERY professional.

Thanks for the referrals.

Ability Welding Svc was one of them that came up in google, good to have a first hand account of someone using them.

Thanks again, I'll call these 2 on Monday.

Fairly good size, I am guessing it is a 1,500.00 to 1,800.00 project for materials and labor, without shipping.

Shipping would be killer on it, the size is 58" x 23" x 25" ( LxWxH ), knocked down it would be 58" x 23" x ~10".

Thanks for the offer, MI is just a price increase on the job, that could add another ~ 300.00 in shipping costs.

It is a full vent, dual dog crate for the back seat of my SuperCrew, doors in the ends ( vs. in the front like most commercially available side by side dog crates ).

Something like this, the vent could be AL grating / different bar setup ( strong enough for the dogs ) :
