Hank's a monster on the track . . . . .

I'm really looking forward to Springfield! Got a camp site reserved, and scoping out the Lake Shelbyville area  . . . . .

 Actually on the mile that "monster" thing is one of his problems Bomber..... He is actually a little too tall compared to some of them and catches a lot of wind with those big shoulders and upper core.

  I know you will have fun at Springfield Bomber. The lake gets you away from a lot of noise up in town. Just hope that it does not rain Memorial wknd like usual. I think the odds are with you since it rained parts or all of the last 3 yrs at that race venue and seems like it is time for a nice one.

As long as we're discussing Lloyd Brothers, the team is running a raffle to buy more air fence. A worthy cause. $20 gets you a chance to win a Buell XB12X AMA pace/safety bike used in the AMA Pro Road Racing series.

I'm pretty sure that link is for last year's raffle.

You are right.  I noticed the story in RRworld.  Thing is---the link references the ticket-holders for the 2011 raffle (which I did not win.  sigh...).  We'll assume they'll fix that.

Either that's one long a$$ raffle, or the "winner" didn't claim the bike last year  Lol

You're right as  rain, Buls . . . ..  I know it's a bit left of center, but I care very little about who wins . . . . I cross my fingers for safe racing, no injuries, and enjoy the competition . . . . (at the risk of being labelled a heratic, I enjoy the TTs and Short Track just as much as the Mile) . . .

Rain -- I'm already wrinkled, I seem to be colorfast (can't fade any more than I already have) and if I shrink a lil, that'd be just fine ;-}

   Another great finish at S-field. 2 in a row is not often achieved there..........     Kawasakis 3rd, 5th and 8th and Hank 14th on the Duc. Margin of victory .017 secs! WOW.

Glad Halbert and the other riders involved in the big crash were ok. According to Sammy it sounded like a bad one...

Willie McCoy.

And, I'm pretty sure there's already one kid loaded up in front of dad.  Routine for Bangalore; rare for Springfield.

Quick healing to the injured, and YAY Hank!

Looks like a missed some great racing!

a bit unnerving to see McCoy coasting back to the line after the victory lap with both hands in the air, his XR750 being guided by a child with both hands on the bars...

the above opinion is simply that of an average middle aged hick with one too many brain injuries... or, don't take it too serious.

Congratulations to Wiles and McCoy along with NorCal rider Dominic Colindres on his 3rd place finish in the Pro Singles TT (kid is 100% badass).

  A great shot. Clearly they have all been on there before as it looks quite orderly actually. I think I see the Nichole Cheza of 2028 sitting on that gas tank with an ear-to-ear grin.
